Upon joining, Troop 98 requires:
the official khaki Boy Scout SHIRT (we recommend short-sleeves)
official Boy Scout SHORTS OR convertible pants or ZIP-OFFS (called Switchbacks)
we recommend the Boy Scout Web BELT
We don’t currently require Scout socks or any hat/cap.
Troop 98 has a uniform exchange. You can check out what we have ON THIS WEB PAGE and then contact the uniform exchange QM to arrange for a purchase or a swap.

In addition to your Scout shirt and pants, you should purchase:
the World Scout Crest Emblem (if not already on the shirt)
If you don't like to sew on patches, we recommend you purchase Badge Magic (at a Scout Shop or online) to affix your patches.
Troop 98 will provide you with:
A troop 98 numeral patch
Green shoulder tabs
A Troop 98 neckerchief and neckerchief slide
A custom name tag
A patrol patch
