Hello Troop 98! My Eagle Scout project will be focusing on moving the dog training facility “Suburban Dog Training” to a new building.
Their old building is getting demolished so they need to move out ASAP! The goal of the project is to store the majority of their items/materials into a storage unit, while the absolute essentials will be moved by truck/mini vans on the sixth and seventh to a temporary location in Flourtown.
There will be snacks, food, and drinks for anyone that comes in volunteers for the day!
The only thing my project needs is if possible people could bring a lifting belt so that we can prevent any injuries from the transport of heavy appliances.
Thank you so much and I look forward to seeing you guys on the days of the project!
Scouts will be required to wear gloves, closed sturdy shoes, and dress appropriately for weather.
If you are allergic to dogs, dog hair, or pet dander, please BE PREPARED by wearing long sleeve clothes, a face cover, gloves, and/or whatever you typically need. If you are seriously allergic please don't participate in this project.
DISCLAIMER: Mold was found on the site of the project. The scouts will not working with the mold, but will be in the vicinity of said mold. As an extra safty percaution, proper gear will be provided as to not inhale/ingest mold even in its unlikely cerrcumstance, thank you for your help, and stay safe!1
