STEPS TO PLANNING AN ECOH

1. Pick a date, time and venue.

2. Decide which Eagles are standing at that ECOH.

3. Scouts complete a Scouting History Survey (like this one).

4. Scouts select and submit photos of themselves for the slide show and the printed program. Here's how: 

   • Find photos of yourself in Scouting that you like. The Troop 98 albums are HERE and you can supplement with anything you have. 

   • Identify at least 20 photos (50 better) and transfer (download/reupload) to the shared folder you've been given (see top of this page).

   • Any photo from their time as a scout/cub will be good, and the more the better.  

5. Think about what you'd like to include in an overall "Eagle acceptance speech" and decide if you'd like to deliver that speech, or co-deliver it. Think about whether you'd like to be the sole speaker, or one of several speakers.

6. We may have time for you to give an individual acceptance speech. This would be one minute or less and dedicated to the most important statement you'd like to make, typically thanking those most responsible for your achievement of Eagle Scout.

7. Verify your Scout uniform is in good shape so that you're ready for photos. If you know you need uniform parts ASK FOR THOSE NOW using the Stuff Sack form on the website:

8. Decide whether we are able to take portraits together, try to Photoshop them, or skip.

9. Gather items that you’d like to include on your memorabilia table. Example below.
