100 Significant Americans ARTICLE
To earn the American Heritage Merit Badge do the requirements and complete the Workbook. Whenever a requirement says rewrite, name, explain, describe, tell, discuss, report, or share, please write this in the workbook. For requirements which say ask or interview, please do this and write the responses you received in the workbook
Requirements 1, 2, and 3 should all be written.
Requirement 4 allows you to choose 2 of the 5 options. For the map requirement in 4a, make the map and scan it or take a good quality photo then combine it into your workbook or send it in at the same time.
For requirements that say visit or take part in you may use something you've done before to complete the requirement. Please write as much as you can about the visit considering the requirement (for instance, if you visited the Liberty Bell write about its history and what you learned or experienced about the bell's significance, but not about the gift shop or the snack shop). ;-)
When you are finished please email the Workbook and any additional attachments to: SubmitMeritBadge@bsa98.com
March 20th: Troop Meeting - How's Everyone Doing? + Public Health Merit Badge Session 2
Public Health MB requirements and Workbook
To earn the Public Health Merit Badge do the requirements and complete the Workbook. Whenever a requirement says rewrite, name, explain, describe, tell, discuss, report, or share, please write this in the workbook. For requirements which say ask or interview, please do this and write the responses you received in the workbook
Requirements 1, 2, 3 and 4 should all be written.
For the second part of requirement 3, you may describe (write) two ways of "making water safe to drink" but please do one of them at home and make a short video or take photos of how you did it and include these when you submit your workbook.
For requirement 5, do option 5b, and watch both of the following videos:
This one is optional but is really cool: Emirates Food Prep
For requirement 7, do option 7b.
For any other requirements that say visit or take part in you may use something you've already done before to complete the requirement. Please write as much as you can about the visit considering the requirement (for instance, if you visited a water treatment facility write about what you learned about its function, but not about where you stopped for lunch on the way home). ;-)
When you are finished please email the Workbook and any additional attachments to: SubmitMeritBadge@bsa98.com
