Hello Troop 98. My Eagle Scout project is at Variety Camp. Variety is devoted to enriching the lives of children and young adults ages 5-24 with disabilities and empowering them to navigate the world around them. They have an accessible playground but it contains an incomplete sensory board and two sheds that need repairs. I will need volunteers to help build the sensory wall, and repair and paint the sheds.
I will need people to bring drills (including Phillips screw bits), hammers, pliers, and work gloves. We will be painting so it’s ideal that volunteers wear old clothes or clothes they don’t care about.
There will be lunch (pizza), snacks, and water!
Scouts will need to wear gloves; Work pants and long sleeve shirts are recommended!
