Friday Nov 4 to Sunday Nov 6 –
Wilderness Survival Campout at CAMP DELMONT
Ridley Creek State Park

Come camping and try your hand at starting fires in unusual ways, making and purifying water, finding food, making and sleeping in a shelter, setting traps, increasing the chances you'll be found (or not!), and more! Participating in this campout plus the activities at the troop meetings will take you a very long way towards completing Wilderness Survival merit badge (some additional meeting and "homework" will allow you to complete the badge).

This campout is also a great opportunity for Scouts to:
  • Take a five mile hike for Scouts who need this for Second Class requirement 1B.
  • Complete outdoor requirements that you need for Early Ranks (Tenderfoot, Second Class, First Class).
  • Complete EDGE teaching requirements that you need for Life Rank.

Cooking and camping is by patrol.

Leave from St. John’s at 5:30PM on Friday.

Return to St. John’s on Sunday at Noon.

The only cost for the weekend is for your patrol food.  Please don't bring money; we will bill you through BillsUp.
