Vaughan H's Eagle Scout Service Project

Come out and help Vaughan complete his journey to become an Eagle Scout – at Prophecy Creek Park!

Saturday 9 July and Sunday 10 July, 8AM to 4PM both days (sign up for whatever times you can help!)
For my Eagle Scout Project we'll be building a bird blind. The blind is basically a wall with holes in it in the corner of a field for looking at nature without nature seeing you.  We also have to clear a 16' x 16' area and put down weed fabric, 6 x 6s and mulch.

Prophecy Creek Park is at 205 West Skippack Pike in Blue Bell, right next to Shady Grove Elementary School.  For a map, click HERE.

What you should wear

  • Long pants / Long sleeve shirt
  • Work shoes or boots (waterproof if you have them)
  • Work gloves
  • Hat and sunscreen (put it on before you come out)
What to bring
  • Wheel Barrows
  • Shovels
  • A screw gun with a charged battery, if you have one and are allowed to bring it (only 16 year olds and up can use power tools, though)
I will provide lunch and water/drinks throughout the day. PIZZA! WINGS! DOUGHNUTS!

I hope you can help out! THANKS!
