Seth M's Eagle Project

Hello everyone!

I am working on my Eagle Project at Robbins Park, in Ambler Pennsylvania. I will be adding new sheathing to the bird blind (see what it is at the bottom of this page), adding bird feeders, and mulching the path up to the bird blind. My project will be on Saturday, August 24 and we will start at 9:00 and be ending at around 5:00. I will appreciate and be thankful for any time that you can offer, whether it is an hour, the entire time, or any time in between.  I am asking that if you have any tools that you are willing to let us use, please bring them, as I will not have enough on my own.

Please RSVP using THIS FORM, which tells me who is coming, what tools they can bring, and also what time they can help out. It will be very important to know all of those details.

  • Please make sure your name is on whatever you are bringing to ensure the tools that you bring also go home, or are returned to you.

  • Please make sure to bring your own work gloves and protective eyewear as we are working with wood and I don't want anyone to get an injury or something in their eye. If you have a pair of work gloves or your own protective eyewear (sunglasses do not count), please bring them for your own usage.

  • Please bring your own water bottle as there will be hydration available, but we are trying to reduce the number of plastic water bottles used.

Please be aware, we are going to working in a park, therefore you will need to be wearing sunscreen and also bug spray.  NO open-toed shoes. Please wear hiking boots if you have them but if not, then closed toes shoes.

I will be having food such as donuts, bagels, coffee, and fruit for breakfast, along with pizza and wings for lunch. Please let me know if you have any dietary restrictions so I can get foods that are safe for you to eat. There will be a constant source of refreshments available throughout the day. It's hydrate or diedrate.

The address for Robbins Park is 1419 East Butler Pike, Ambler, Pennsylvania 19002. Robbins Park is located at the intersection of Butler Pike and Meetinghouse Road, near the Temple Ambler campus. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me at 215-285-1767, or email me at smgoalie9@gmail.com

Thank you for taking the time to read this and I hope to see you on August 24. We will be working rain or shine, so please be prepared.

How come I'm eating in all the pictures Mr. T has of me?

What's a Bird Blind?

It's a place for people to go to observe birds. Typically, the people are hidden from behind the wall so they do not scare away the birds.
