Thomas M’s ESSP
Hello Troop 98. My Eagle Scout Project will be cleaning up Treemount Cemetery in Norristown. Treemount Cemetery is a cemetery that has gotten completely overgrown over the last 170 years. It is home to many soldiers from the Civil War, World War 1 and World War 2 including members of one of the first integrated infiltrates in American history. Without our help these soldiers could be lost forever. My project will consist of pulling greenery out of the ground, weed whacking, bagging it all up, picking up trash, and cutting up a fallen tree. I am going to need a couple tools for this project. Including leaf rakes, metal rakes, and hand clippers.
Scouts will be required to wear gloves; work pants and long sleeve shirts are strongly recommended.
There will be breakfast and lunch provided as well as plenty of water.
