Charlie's Eagle Project

Hey Everyone,

My Eagle Project is planned for March 20th and the 27th is a spill over date. I will be holding the project at Camp Woods, off of Morris Rd, east of Penlynn Pike, in Blue Bell. My project is to construct water bars which are used to cut down on erosion on downhill trails. The area we will be building this in is a historic area and it would be a great thing to be able to preserve the land. George Washington and his troops camped out there. I need all the help I can get in completing this project. I would greatly appreciate anyone who decides to help. We will be starting 8:00 AM Saturday March 20 and ending approximately 3:00 PM. It would be great if you can arrive first thing, if not, don't worry, any help would be greatlly appreciated! I will be providing snacks and drinks through out the day and I will be providing lunch. If anyone can bring any of the following items it will make the project faster and more successful.
                • Shovels
                • Rakes
                • Hoes
                • Wheel barrows
                • Saw
                • Sledge hammer

SOOOOO, get ready for a day full of fun, hard work and devotion. Where going to keep these beautiful woods how they're suppose to be for future generations to enjoy.

Take Miles Drive to Mason Drive and turn right. This will dead end into the trail head for Camp Woods. Follow the trail to the left past the sign, to the edge of the woods and turn right, follow straight across to the second right where the trail turns and follows Morris Road and you will see us there off to the right.
