Camping at Fort Washington State Park

Friday 14 June to Sunday 16 June
Come out to our last regular campout before the summer!
Fort Washington is a really nice park with a "secret" campground that not a lot of people know about (it's circled in red on the map below).

We'll be camping, hiking, orienteering, playing Capture the Flag, and competing for best patrol meal in the IRON CHEF on Saturday at dinner.

There's still a lot of wood down from Sandy so we'll also have a huge bonfire on Saturday night!

DEPART:  From St. John's at 5:30PM on Friday

RETURN:  To St. John's on Sunday at Noon.

  • Tent camping by patrol
  • Meals by patrol
  • Bring usual gear for a one-night campout
This Park is so close to Blue Bell that it's easy for you to come part-time if you have other commitments on the weekend.  Get to know your new patrol members!  Help your patrol win the IRON CHEF for dinner!  SEE YOU THERE!  Here is a MAP so you can find your way to the park.  Follow signs for Militia Hill Day Use area, across from the bird-watching platform.
