GregK Project

Eagle Scout Service Project

Greg K

I am doing my Eagle Scout service project on Saturday, January 2.

We will be building ten wooden boardwalks along a section of the Green Ribbon Trail in Penllyn Woods. We also will be adding a new sign and clearing brush from the trail.

Time: The hours of the project will be from 9:00am to 2:00pm. It would be best if you could arrive at the beginning of the project but feel free to come whenever you like.

Clothing: You should wear long outdoor pants, hiking or work boots, a warm coat and hat depending on the weather, and work gloves.

Lunch: Lunch will be provided for everyone around 1:00pm (pizza, soda, Gatorade, etc.).

Directions: (From St. Dunstan’s Church): Turn right onto Skippack Pike and then left at the first light onto Penllyn-Blue Bell Pike. Follow Penllyn-Blue Bell Pike for about a mile and cross the light at Morris Road. Continue on Penllyn-Blue Bell Pike for about a half mile, past Cedar Brook Country Club. You will cross a small bridge and immediately on the left you will see a sign for Penllyn Woods and an Eagle Scout project sign. Make a sharp left into Penllyn Woods and follow the road past the houses (do not turn right toward Penllyn Park) until you cross a small bridge. The road then curves to the right and immediately you will see a small brick building to your left (there will be signs marking the entrance to the trail).

Please RSVP to Greg Kozemchak at the email address or cell phone listed on the email.

Thank you in advance for helping with this project. It should be a lot of fun!
